Astrology of Love, Sex, Desire and Intimacy
If the seventh house is about the quality of the relationship and the people you’ll likely attract, the fifth house is about how you live out the relationship in dates, sex, and time spent together as a pair.
Jupiter in Leo is a himbo
Hasan Piker, the leading left-wing Twitch streamer, has Jupiter in Leo. Jupiter is like a cheerful and affectionate guy at the gym—ripped af—who hands you his weights and cheers as you lift.” When I shared this with a client, she told me “Oh so Jupiter is a himbo.” I might as well have been describing Hasan. Incidentally, Hasan has the Sun, Mercury and Jupiter in Leo. Jupiter is the planet of faith, optimism and generosity. Jupiter expands whatever it touches so Jupiter can be the giver, the forgiver, or the gambler.
Chiron: a minor Saturn
I’m much more interested in Chiron as a survival strategy, as a methodology of self-remaking from the raw material of circumstances beyond one’s choices. The story of Chiron’s journey is the story of assault’s pernicious afterlife. Of choosing service over indulgence. Of war’s impact on non-fighters and of political imprisonment Of being a god’s illegitimate child and what it means for a bastard to find a place in polite society.
Be the conjunction you wish to see in the world
To conjoin is to unite; today, the two benefics embrace in Cancer, Jupiter’s exaltation sign. Think of it as the two most fortunate planets having a cozy cookie-scented bubble bath, cuddling, giggling, bonding over inside jokes. The vibe oozes ease, flirtation, optimism, generosity and affection.

Scorpio Moon & katabasis
Scorpio Moon struggles with their own unlovability. Despite their loyalty to the few it holds dear, Scorpio Moon can’t believe it is worthy of loyalty, generosity, safety. To love a Scorpio Moon is to create a space for them to fall apart and know there’s still a home to which they can return again and again. That embarrassment, bad days, mood swings and rage quits won’t send you running. Despite Scorpio Moon’s curiosity and comfort in the darker end of the psyche, Scorpio Moons cringe at the prospect of showing their soft underbelly even to their closest ones.
URANUS IN GEMINI: The cost of freedom
The length of a Uranus transit is roughly 1/8 of a life. Think of how you’ve grown from 0 – 8 years old, 9 – 16, 17 – 24, and so on. You might still be the same person at the end of a 29-day lunar cycle. You are not the same person after a Uranus transit.
The malefics: Aries stellium 2026
Malefics tell you the hard truths the benefics won’t. Time won’t always be on your side. Bad people often win (at least on the outside). Good things don’t last. No matter how hard you work, you might not always get there, not because it’s your fault or because you fell short in any way but because life can be like that. People lie, cheat, steal. The ones you love will let you down. You will repeat mistakes you swore you wouldn’t. Knowing all of this about life, what’s worth doing? Who’s it worth doing with? What do you desire? Who are you and who do you want to be?
This New Moon in Pisces, choose ease
Water signs are about emotions and connections. Pisces in particular is Jupiter’s nocturnal domicile, a more interior manifestation of Jupiter’s significations. Inclined to softness, stickiness and sensitivity, Pisces in particular is about contemplating connections that might strike others as unconventional or even undesirable. The most mutable of the mutable signs, Pisces erodes boundaries and borders the way waves lap at the shoreline—between reality and unreality, facts and delusion, self and other, living and dead.
Venus in Aries is the anti-clean girl Venus
Venus in Aries is the anti-clean girl Venus. That’s not to say she’s dirty or freaky, which is not to say that any of those things are bad. Smoothness, sweetness, and diplomacy are Venus’s wheelhouse and these sit at odds with Aries energy, Mars-led fiery cardinality: breaking things, moving quickly, resisting boredom and routine, choosing the hard way because it’s exciting. Uncompromising Aries is Venus’s detriment sign so here Venus does love, beauty, closeness, art in ways that are authentic. There is pleasure to be had in rejecting norms that were never going to accept you anyway.
South node lunar eclipse in Virgo: unclenching, releasing, phasing out
In mundane astrology (the ancient astrology of global politics) eclipses were associated with public falls from grace, regime change and shifting world orders. In natal astrology eclipses are when we come home to our blind spots. A south node eclipse carries the same quality as a toilet flushing.

Saturn in Aries is uncompromising
In Aries, Saturn struggles to Saturn. Saturn finds that he is forced to take a Mars route in order to do Saturn things. During this initial Saturn in Aries transit, the invitation is to consider one's relationship to strategy. Aries, like all cardinal signs, takes pride in taking action. Saturn in Aries is uncompromising, the opposite of Libra’s diplomatic aplomb.
